“It sounds almost trite, going through this with Betsi, but cancer doesn’t care if you’re pro-choice, anti-choice, progressive, conservative,” Hurd said. “Victims of cancer could care less about people’s politics.

He’s right, cancer doesn’t care what your politics are. Know who the single largest provider of preventative services, including pap smears and mammograms is? Planned Parenthood. So, by ending their affiliation with PP, the Komen foundation is saying that people who DON’T care that cancer affects millions of un- or under-insured women (and men) every year, matter more than the people who get and have cancer. Stay classy, folks, stay classy.
