Maybe, just maybe…if you don’t want to get pregnant or run the risk of getting pregnant KNOWING that you are unable to carry on that responsibility; with all due respect — maybe these ladies should keep their legs CLOSED.

Because when you get down to it, this is what the anti-choice movement is really about: controlling what women do with their vaginas. Gotta keep those dirty sluts in line!

PS: If you’re trying to disagree as respectfully as possible, which is what the phrase “with all due respect” implies, then perhaps you should try NOT saying what you want to say in a way that is not only crass, but also extremely disrespectful. Language like that constitutes shaming, which let’s face it, is about as far from respecting someone as you can get.

I don’t understand why people are so obsessed with controlling other people’s private lives.  You don’t want to have sex before marriage?  DON’T.  But if I want to, I will.  Butt out.

I appreciate that robot-heart called it the anti-choice movement.  As I’ve grown up, I’ve realized that “pro-life” often isn’t accurate for people who care nothing of the environment, prisoners, the poor, HIV patients, or even mothers whose lives are endangered by their pregnancies.  Being pro-choice is about doing what is best for your life and your circumstances, without judging others for the decisions they make.
