He must be the most adorable human being in the world. He says, “Walking up the 10-m platform, I thought to myself, I’ve waited 16 years for this moment. Am I going to blow it? So I prayed to God that I was most deserving of winning the Games. And in case he was busy, I also prayed to Buddha and Confucius.”
This is such a great story. I know people are inundated with links and pictures and videos on Tumblr, but I’m always pleased to read something so inspiring.
