Remember when Martha Jones faced Judoon so the Doctor could get a clean getaway to save the hospital and she barely got a thanks. Remember when she was still a young woman in medical school who did what she had to.

Remember when Martha Jones decided to travel with the Doctor to save the world. 

Remember when Martha Jones thought on her feet and ingeniously used a Harry Potter spell to thwart the ‘witches’.

Remember when they went to Manhattan and she helped keep the peace when the Doctor left her to talk to Daleks.

Remember when she saved the Doctor despite her mother’s protest during Lazarus experiment.

Remember when Martha Jones went into a time when her race would render her to be treated someone less than a human and saved the world and the Doctor without a protest. And all she got was a thanks.

Remember when Martha Jones became a legend and walked war ravaged earth as her family was enslaved by the Master but she did it to save the world. Remember when she refused to call herself a legend because that’s who Martha is.

Remember when she walked away from the Doctor because she recognized how unhealthy the situation with the Doctor was and had the strength to walk away.

Remember how the Doctor kept on belittling her and compared her to Rose. Remember when the fandom did that. Remember when apparently unrequited love makes a character less than stellar especially when it’s a WOC. 

And let’s remember- Martha Jones is better than good. She’s the best. And that the Doctor doesn’t need to be the one to validate this because it’s in every episodes she appears.

Fierce, brilliant, gorgeous, well dressed queen with a huge heart, immaculate hair that stayed miraculously fresh through all space and time, as well as patience oozing out of her pores.
